Reset Wellness Studio Brings Private Sauna, Ice Bath And Halotherapy Experience To Double Bay

Reset Wellness Studio has opened in Double Bay with a focus on intimate, small-group health rituals rather than large spa crowds, offering guided sauna and ice bath circuits designed to support recovery, calm and community connection.

A Focus on Quiet and Control

The studio opened in mid-October at 15 Knox Street and operates daily from 7:00 am to 8:30 pm. It is designed to feel more like a refined private residence than a public bathhouse. Its core session, known as The Circuit, is limited to up to five people per intake and combines a traditional cedar sauna, magnesium spa, ice baths, eucalyptus steam room and a vitamin C-infused shower as a guided flow.

The studio is structured around timed, guided sessions rather than open-access bathing. Each session is timed and guided, catering to guests who want intentional recovery or stress relief rather than a social spa experience.

The studio also offers private contrast therapy rooms for one to three people, allowing small groups or individuals to move through sauna, ice bath and shower in full privacy.

Wellness Treatments Beyond Heat and Cold

Beyond heat and cold therapy, Reset includes a halotherapy cave made from Himalayan salt designed to support breathing and meditation, along with LED light therapy and compression treatments targeting circulation and athletic recovery.

Treatment rooms are also available for facials and massage sessions, with recovery technology such as Normatec compression mattresses offered for those with muscle soreness or post-training needs.

A Design-Led Wellness Space

The interior features materials like breccia stone reception benches, travertine-lined spas, concrete sinks with marble fragments and salt-block walls, with Sydney-based studio Natural Brick and Surface Gallery involved in its construction.

The space was intentionally designed to remove noise and distraction, according to its creators, who aimed for a slow, grounding atmosphere where people feel as though they have stepped into a private home rather than a public venue.

For Eastern Suburbs Locals Seeking Routine Health

The studio encourages repeat visits, framing wellness as an ongoing practice rather than a one-off treat.

Its approach is targeted at people who want temperature therapy, nervous system recovery or stress management on a weekly basis.

With small session capacities, the studio is marketed toward Double Bay and nearby residents who prefer structured and pre-booked wellness experiences.
