WINTER Sprint Racing – FINAL DAYPRO Mike Dunne reports:The start of the day sucked, just old-fashioned sucked. No wind, no direction, no idea. We got it wrong setting the course. Tried to work to the prediction… Starting outside the bay, it turns out, doesn’t work. It was a learning thing. During Race 1 everything (and everyone) was all over the shop. For Race 2, we went back to basics and set the weather mark in Double Bay and that totally rocked! So, 5 races in total, 4 amazing races, let’s call the 1st the ‘canary in the coal mine’. We rocked and maybe we rolled! 🤣 All in all, a spectacular day on (and sometimes in) our amazing harbour.. Approx
