With much sadness, DBSC acknowledges the passing of Dene Bergman. Following a battle with cancer, Dene passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 16th.Dene had been a stalwart of our club from the early 80’s. Backed by his avionics engineering career, Dene was the master of response boats, radio communications, and general maintenance at our club. Dene had a wonderful sense of humour. So obsessed with keeping our premises in order, he produced many wonderful cartoons and signs around our club, which you can see.
